*Conducted fieldwork in the rural Bondi society of Tanzania, which is a Swahili cultural area, and have studied the life of rural Swahili with a focus on the use of coconut. Recently, we have been making efforts to clarify the ideal way of “mutual cooperation” rooted in rural areas from the relationship between traditional culture and social environment. 

* Organized a research study in the Philippines regarding the wisdom for living with natural disasters and study the locals initiatives in response to the changes in society.
